Thanks A Bunch

I hope you're having a great day! I've been so busy lately! I've been having some stomach issues. My doctor thought I might have a hernia, so I've had some blood tests, and a CT scan. No hernia, perhaps a pulled muscle? The labs revealed some vitamin deficiencies / anemia - so I'm going to try to take better care of myself than I have in the past.

I'm always happy to sneak off to my craft room and make! My cards always start the same way. I cut and arranged die cuts from the Pretty Pink Posh Spring Mug Additions and arranged them on a piece of clear plastic the same size as my card base.

The plastic makes it easy to slip different papers underneath so I could have a sneak peek before I commit I loved how this one turned out. I started by inking a white panel of paper with Distress Ink in Saltwater Taffy and Dried Marigold. To add some texture I cut it with the Pierced Leafy Vine. A few of the hexagons in the die set add the perfect accents in coordinating colors.

I love the cute little bees too! There are three different ones in this set. An Eyelet Circle makes a sweet doily or is it a saucer for that cup? You decide!

Yay for Cake!

I admit, I LOVE cupcakes! And honestly I don't think cupcakes should be reserved just for birthdays. I think cupcakes are to celebrate the everyday victories too! The Pink and Main Berry Cupcake is just that - a yummy way to celebrate every special day!

This image with it's clean line design was easy to color! I used alcohol markers to add lots of color, even tinting the frosting pink! I repeated the green in the foliage sprigs in the little bow around the cupcake base.

The Stitched Rectangle Frames cuts SEVEN rectangle frames all at the same time with one pass through your die cut machine. I added a few over Colorful Ink Spots Cardstock to create a focal point for the cupcake. I love the alcohol ink look of this paper pad and these brights pair beautifully with the colors in my cupcake!

The Birthday Sentiments Foilables pack includes over 60 die cut sentiments that you foil yourself. This is awesome because you can foil them in any of the Cheerfoil colors that you love! I added gold foil to mine to pick up on the gold in the background paper.

A sprinkle of glitter enamel dots is just the finishing touch and adds just the right amount of color and sparkle to the design. What a great way to send a pick me up or share appreciation to a special someone! It's calorie free and total eye candy!

My card today features the new Adore You Florals. This is one great big stamp that easily covers an A2 size card. The set also includes a few butterflies and sentiments too. Of course you'll also find a coordinating die set in this release so you have more possibilities for makes!

I inked my florals with Copic markers but I think this set would look amazing with just about any media of your choice. I want to try watercolor next!

I stamped the image on an A2 panel of cardstock and then inked it with Copic Markers. I cut the panel with an A2 Stitched Rectangle. To add the "photo corners" I cut the same die with colored cardstock scraps - made a 1 1/2" square with the corner and then cut it at an angle. I love how they adds more color to the design.
